Bella is a 9-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Portland, ME, who needs $992 for mammary tract removal, mass on her nipple removed, a biopsy to check for cancer, X-rays, and bloodwork.

I adopted Bella in September 2012. One of my kitties had passed away unexpectedly from kidney failure and it soon became obvious her brother was lonely. I found her, or she found me, at the local shelter. I could hear her yelling at me from across the room. She looked like she could have been my other kitty's sibling. And could she yell. Tiny little two year old with a giant set of lungs. She came into our home and tried to take over. .She's my best friend and she's been there through the loss of my other cat, my mother, and so many ups and downs. I love her so much. She has a "little" brother (he's enourmous) that we adopted 4 years ago as a foster kitten. Though he outweighs her 8 or so pounds, she is in charge. They adore each other an Bruce worships her, follows her around, sometimes to her annoyance. She LOVES her snax and will try and sucker anyone in the area out of them. She knows how to work her cuteness!
