Bella is an 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Proctor, MN, who needs $1,100 for Tumor Removal.

Bella is the daughter of my father and late mother's Yorkies that have since passed on. Her mom, Lily, had progressively had issues with her litters and Bella was the last of her last litter. My parents always said I could get the last pup when that time came, so when it did, I was ecstatic and so blessed to get her! She currently lives with my hubby, daughter, other dog Bear, and I.

She has enjoyed many hikes with me, many car rides, she's been my absolute best friend in so many ways, especially very tough times like losing my mother, etc. She can sense when I'm feeling down and always comes and lays by me to comfort me. She may be little in stature, but she is a BIG part of our family and we can't imagine life without her. I'm her person and everyone can see that :)

She loves her "lamby" - she actually has 2, and cuddles with them all the time. Her fur can get crazy fluffy - like photo one - before a groom. She looks so silly, but I love it. She always follows me everywhere. No matter what room I'm in. She cuddles with me a lot, as I've struggled with my mental health. She LOVES treats, hikes, car rides, cuddling, etc. A great family dog.

She recently developed masses on her lower abdomen. The main one was very small, then in over a month it grew to at least 10x that size, the other was discovered after we had her see a local vet about the big mass. They determined the masses are cancer. They were almost certain it didn't spread, but to be safe, we had xrays done and they verified it did NOT spread...yet. If it does, she will pass.

Our family has been under a tremendous amount of stress this year, especially when it comes to finances. I had to quit my job over major mental health issues this summer and now on SSI, daughter is also on SSI due to a birth defect. Hubby is out of work from a car accident.
