Bella Rae is a 2-year-old Dachshund Mix in San Antonio, TX, who needs $1,297 for C-section.

My friend gave us Bella after I lost my dog of 13 years. No one wanted Bella as she was the runt of the litter and was very thin and sickly looking. We nourished her and she grew and flourished with us. She is inside most of the time but does love to go outside on the patio. She lives with me and my 2 kids and does everything with us!

Bella gets along with everyone. She loves playing with my 2 boys ages 9 and 7. She is very vocal so she will make a noise and look at something when she wants it. So absolutely loves Pizza and will sit by the stove and yelp if we order it and don’t give her any. I think she actually tries to speak sometimes cause when we talk to her she tries her best to talk to us.

Bella loves to burrow under the covers with us when we’re watching tv. She loves her squeaker toys even though she basically destroys them in a matter of minutes so we are constantly getting her new ones. Lol. She loves the outdoors and enjoys rides to Chic-Filet, especially when she gets to have some peach milkshake. She has been with us road trips and is just the sweetest girl ever!

Bella has always gone to the vet for shots and flea prevention. She is a healthy girl but a few months ago when she was in heat, a stray dog got in our backyard while I was at a Dr. Appt and they bred. We took her to the vet as we saw she was gaining weight and they confirmed she was pregnant. The vet said she will need a C-section as the puppies are quite large.

So I am currently am not working as I am preparing for my 3rd spinal surgery. I lost my job last year due to my disability and things have been quite tough. It would mean the world to us if we could help her and save her puppies. We would be devastated if something happened
