Bella Rose Roundtree is a 9 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Pittsburg, CA, who needs $4,900 for TPLO Surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy).

Bella was a Christmas gift for my youngest son. One of his oldest brothers got her from a friend. Bella was only 6 weeks old when is became a member of our family. Bella was the runt of her litter. My youngest son named Bella since it was his Christmas gift. Bella is 9 yrs old.

Since November, Bella has been exhibiting a progressive lameness in her left hind knee. After being evaluated by Banfield Hospital vet, they said that Bella had a ligament injury. Bella was then referred to Warm Springs Pet Hospital for evaluation for a TPLO surgery to repair her knee.

Bella and I are best friends! Never would I ever thought that I would have such a close bond to this fur baby! She was so sick in her first year of life and after I nursed her back to health our friendship was a bond for life! Bella loves playing with her stuffed toys and zooms are her favorite! She has not been able to do any zooms since her injury or take long walks which she absolutely loves!

A TPLO surgery is around $4,900. I am a single mother with a fixed income and this unexpected expense is a financial challenge for me. Overall Bella is in good health other than her knee injury. Bella having this surgery will allow her to regain a better quality of life.
