Bella is a 16 year old Poodle in Villa Park, IL, who needs $500 for X-ray and Bloodwork.

Bella is a Pekingese Poodle mix who came into our lives back in 2008 all the way from Brooklyn, New York.
She was my cousin’s dog but, my cousin couldn’t keep her. My son feel in love with her on a 5th grade trip to New York and begged me to let him have her.
Well, I couldn’t say no as she was so cute and reminded me of our old dog Booboo.

Bella got sick a few weeks ago and we took her to see the vet. He gave us an antibiotic and we bought her cough medication. For about two weeks it seemed to help.
Now she barely eats, can’t keep her head up and barely responds to even her name.
Last night we noticed she couldn’t lift her head. This morning she ran outside like a puppy again. However I had to go look for her to bring her inside.

Bella is closest to my dad and my son. She jumps at the sound of my dad’s voice. Today she could barely crawl but, she got to him and just laid down.
She has been the sweetest dog and I hate to see her suffer.

My husband recently broke his foot which meant time off of work. We just don’t have the financial means to get her the vet care she needs. We can’t even afford an X-ray for her. I hate to see her suffering. It breaks my heart Everytime I go to check on her. Please help her.
