Bella is a 13 year old Mix-Breed in Westfield, MA, who needs $2,000 for Treatment, Testing, Meds - Chronic Kidney Disease.

Our little Bella is a Yourkiepoo, and was a puppy mill rescue. W got her at four months; she is now 13. We call her Bella Bean because she's tiny. She is still a feisty senior dog and has the run of the house. She likes to get nose to nose with our 17 year old cat Clovis. She is still grieving the loss of her brother Tino, who was also a 13 year old Yourkiepoo, who died in December 2023.

Bella is suffering from bladder infections and has the onset of chronic kidney disease, which is affecting her appetite and making her lethargic. She has to keep going to the vet for multiple tests and expensive medications. After the loss of Tino from diabetes, cancer and kidney disease, we don't want to lose Bella Bean. She goes to East Springfield Veterinary Hospital, seen by Dr. Anderson

Bella's favorite toys are large stuffed animals and loves to play ball in the yard. She likes to play on our bed and occasionally do zoomies down the hall. She really loves salmon. No matter how she feels she' s always bouncing to greet us in the morning and loves to be picked up and held like a baby.

We are an older couple. with little income. I have a minimum wage job. My wife has many health problems (and now is losing her hearing) and is trying to get on disability. Bella is like our support animal; we want to enjoy what little time we may have left with her.
