Belle is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Harvard , IL, who needs $2,000 for ACL Repair Surgery.

We got Belle from a rescue shelter 8yrs ago. Little did we know the tiny little puppy we took home would turn into such a loving “gentile GIANT”. She is the sweetest most loyal girl who protects her owners to the fullest. She loves her home and large yard to run in. Snow is her FAVORITE. We call her our Polar Bear. At 154lbs she is a vision of a dog and we
Love her so much.

Recently belle had been moving more slowly then limping which then turned into virtually not being able to walk at all. We took her to our vet @ The Harvard Vet Clinic and after extensive exam and bloodwork and X-rays. We were told she has a torn left rear ACL. The repair to allow her to be pain free and walk again is $7,000. Also a challenge because our vet has never done this on such a BIG DOG

Belle is absolutely attached to my youngest daughter. And does not leave her side. Up until her injury she slept with her and took up almost the whole (Queen sized) bed. She also has 2 kitty friends her that she is fond of. And her chocolate lab “brother” Sammy. She love the cold but also will snuggle with you under a blanket. She is our protector and we love her so much.

I myself have had numerous surgeries over the past 3 years and am at this point unable to work. Waiting to see if a disability claim will come through but until then I have nothing. To be able to get some help with Belles condition would mean everything to us.
