About this campaign
Ben was born feral with his brother and both were rescued by myself and my cousin.
My grandmother gifted him to me and was the best present I ever got.
Ben has been receiving regular checkups as normal, but over the past few years has had hyperthyroidism. This causes him to lose weight and he is now half his body weight at 7lbs and losing. He is healthy and blood work is showing normal functions of liver despite. He has pills which upsets his stomach, trans dermal has been not effective. His only option is radio iodine treatment.
After moving my entire life, this was my first ever cat of my own.
He is there for me and my BEST FRIEND. Once I had children, Ben then gained 3 more more loves. When he meows it sounds like he says hello. He uses his paw to tap my arm when I'm sleeping so I can hold him closer to me. He loves his catnip and foil scrunchy balls are his favorite toys.
Single Mom with 3 children and working 2 jobs has made it hard to keep up with bills despite using Care Credit Met Pet. He was already diagnosed when I got the insurance so it will not cover his needs. Once he has this treatment he can continue being loved.
