Benjamin Button is a 10-year-old American shorthair Cat in Thibodaux , LA, who needs $1,500 for Dental Extractions and gum treatment.

I Rescued Benji from a pile of debris on Christmas 2021. He was covered in mange, skinny and in bad shape. I took him to the vet and for treatment. He was tested for diseases and vaccinations were given. Everything was done apart from his teeth and gums. which were badly infected. Now an abscess around his neck mouth area was lanced and he is in dire need to have his teeth and gums treated.

Benji is an older cat and is a absolute joy in the house. I already have a rescued cat and rabbit which I’ve had for a few years, the cat tolerates him and the rabbit likes him. When I rescued him i planned to find someone to adopt him, however we have developed a very close bond so he will live with me for the rest of his life❤️

Benji and i have bonded like I’ve never experienced with any animal in all my life. He sits on my lap or by my feet if my lap is not available. He loves to play with string; he follow me, if not physically then with his eyes, and when I I look into his eyes he melts my heart.
Benji has been without a home for a while and I expect had a tough time, however he has the sweetest soul.❤️

The infection in Benji’s mouth is now in dire need of treatment and is life-threatening. He will need to go under anesthetic so they can remove some or all of his teeth as well as clean up the infection in his gums. Ridgefield Animal Hospital in Thibodaux Louisiana is where all his care has been given and will be for the dental treatment.

I live alone and work a few hours a week, however my major source of income is my Retirement Social Security. The prior vets bills were paid by me plus and my birthday fundraiser on Facebook. I now would appreciate help with his dental bills and hospitalization. ❤️
