Benji Blue is a 5 year old Boxer in Las Vegas , NV, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Surgery with Intestinal Enterotomy.

Benji Blue came into our lives a few months ago as a gift from a neighbor who was downsizing into an RV. His previous owners didn't care for him much, but he won our hearts instantly with his affectionate and endearing personality. Since that day, he has lived in our home as a member of our family, and grown close to all of us in his own special way.

Benji entered the Green Valley Animal Hospital yesterday morning. He had been throwing up for a couple days.
The doctors performed exams and labs, which showed that he has a foreign body with secondary obstruction in his intestines. He needs surgery to have it removed, or he will have to be euthanized. He is currently at the hospital awaiting a decision.

Benji is the sweetest dog I've ever had. He loves to play with my 8 year old daughter Lily, and he has become a vital part of our daily routine.
He loves long, lazy days on the couch with us as much as he loves going on long hikes.We call him our little shadow dog, because he follows us wherever we go. He has truly become a member of our family, and we cannot imagine our lives without him.

We are, unfortunately, unable to afford this surgery. This is an unexpected expense that is outside of our means. It would mean everything to us to get our dog back. He is our child and a treasured member of the family. We will do whatever it takes to get him help.
