Benji is a 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles and Shih Tzu in Romulus, MI, who needs $1,000 for Cherry Eye Surgery.

My fur baby Benji was adopted from a pet store. He was bought for me as a birthday present and after I lost my dog to cancer. He lives with myself and my husband, with 2 adorable loving cats. My mom also lives with us and has a cocker spaniel named Rocky. Benji and Rocky are best friends. Benji is 5 years old.

Benji is a very active dog, who loves to play fetch and be cuddled. He also plays with his best friend Rocky. If he isn’t playing, he is laying on his mommy’s lap and sleeping. Benji is also a very vocal dog and loves to bark at everyone or thing he sees out the window.

My dog Benji is very unique. He will throw his toys up in the air and play like that for awhile then wants someone to throw it for him. He hates fireworks and loud bang noises. He loves to chase the vacuum cleaner. He is overall a very loving dog.

My Dog Benji is in need of surgery for his eye. He has cherry eye. I have used antibiotic eye drops and it only helps keep infection away. But it won’t cure the cherry eye. I can’t get it to go back in where it’s supposed to go. I also put lubricants in his eye to keep it from getting dry. It bothers him all the time. I’m worried he will lose his eye or go blind.

I lost my job back in March, then I had to have a spinal fusion surgery. So I been off work for awhile. My husband and I are struggling to pay our bills. We can’t make it on one income. I really need to get this surgery for my dogs eye and can’t afford it.
