My sweet little pup, Benny, is about a year old. In July 2019, he was rescued from a shelter down in Southern California. After spending about 20 minutes with him, I fell in love and decided to adopt him. We've only been together for 2 months and he's already changed my life for the better. I have a mentally and emotionally taxing job working with homeless youth, and any day I come home feeling depleted (which is often), Benny makes me smile and laugh and feel happier. He re-energizes me when I'm tired and he provides a calm, loving presence when I'm feeling low. He's just the best little dog and he's become my dear companion!

Every Saturday I go to the woods with him and with my little 5-year-old niece who has also fallen in love with him. She loves holding the leash and he loves playing with her. It's become such a sweet part of my week.
