Bentley is a 7-year-old Standard Poodle in Middleton, WI, who needs $2,000 for Stomach Torsion Surgery .

My BFF, emotional support animal and certified therapy dog, Bentley, is 7 yrs old and has 9 lives. As a puppy Bentley was plagued with chronic GI issues and required multiple hospital stays. All the bills accumulated bit a diagnosis was never made. He’s been on prescription food since he was a year old. He lives with me, in an apartment, and comes with me to work!

Bentley is my shadow. We go everywhere together! I work for a dog training company (Dogs Best Friend, Madison, WI) and help dogs every day in my job! Now that I’m separated, it’s just Bentley and I living together but prior to my current situation, he’s lived with our cat and spent time in the barn with our horse, Maddie.

Recently separated and living alone after being a stay at home mom for 23 yrs. Can you say STRESSFUL time? ;( My hours have been cut at work and I am so anxious about his bills and Covid.

Bentley has been chronically sick. Most recently, his stomach twisted requiring emergency surgery and a hospital stay. He’s has aspiration pneumonia, reflux issues and countless vet appointments to try to get to the bottom of his issues. He’s been treated most recently at the UW-Madison Vet School.

Bentley is human. Ask anyone that knows him! He visits schools, nursing homes, hospitals as a volunteer! He brings a smile to so many people in the community and I love impacting other people’s life and well being with Bentley. Bentley loves to chase tennis balls, which is perfect, because prior to covid I volunteered as a tennis coach for a local high school team!
