Bertie is a 11-year-old Beagle in Hagerstown, MD, who needs $200 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

A year ago we rescued our sweet girl. She was at a house that was being built. My bf was there doing electric. As the last guy was leaving he said the dog had been there all week. My partner went around to the neighbors & said people dump dogs all the time in the area. So he brought her home & we got her cleaned up. Battled itchy skin, seizures, and now I'm worried somethings wrong w her back leg!

Bertie is the sweetest girl you've ever met! She is so friendly! On walks she thinks every person we pass is supposed to pet her. She loves long walks, longer naps (especially in the sun), and any food she can get outside of her diet lol.

Bertie is so sweet, I love the way her tongue sticks out when she sleeps. I love how sleepy and cute she looks when she wakes up. She is the most well behaved dog I have ever had! She doesn't make a sound, except for in her sleep, she snores, makes little grunts & barks. My bf says he loves how lovable she is! She is our sweet little grandma. ❤️

I sat Bertie up on the couch on Saturday & she yelped. Then on Sunday when we came to bed she yelped for 15-20 seconds. We just thought she was being weird. Then on Monday she was yelping anytime we got close to her. Tuesday morning I bumped her with my foot when I was getting up & she yelped for 2 minutes. I've tried to leave her alone, but made sure she was getting food, water, & her meds.

We only have one income right now and all of our bills are past due. We are living paycheck to paycheck. Our credit is shot. We are already getting assistance in many ways. We're beyond stretched thin.
