About this campaign
This is Betty the Kitten's story. She was rescued on Betty White's 100 Birthday. Her broken frail body hiding in a cinderblock. She suffered a trauma of some kind. She had a fractured tail, jaw, skull, a fractured right back and front leg. She could not see due to a severe infection, and only 5 weeks old!
Betty has grown up with 4 dogs Havana a beautiful border collie, Minnie a miniature dachshund (Betty's Favorite) Mrs. Muff a Pomski and Chucky a Yorkie mix, They are all rescues with their own stories. There are 3 of us who have the privilege of taking care of this wolf pack. Betty has no idea she's a CAT she's never seen one.
Betty is a ball of energy she loves to fetch, play and wrestle with the dogs. She is also extremely sweet and likes to sleep under the sheets or on your chest or your head. She attacks food like a savage and will actually growl at he dogs if they try to go near her food "She prefers dog food of course".
We took Betty to the vet the next morning and she was examined and prescribed several different medications. She pulled through all of those challenges. She is presently 5 months old and so full of life and the will to live. She has a large cystic tumor in her abdomen that needs to surgically be removed at Miami Veterinary Specialists.
Insurance will not cover it. The estimate we were given is between 3-4,000 dollars. we are fully prepared to cover a substantial amount of the cost but are unable to afford the entire bill. Betty at 5 months old has gone through so much and has an incredible will to live.
