About this campaign

Biggie is a 5 1/2 year old “chug” (chihuahua/pug mix). He is the center of my world. I found him one afternoon when I was in a remote neighborhood in LA, walking back to my car from a meeting. I noticed a Toyota Corolla slowing down and then I saw them throw a crumpled up newspaper out of the passenger side window and then drive off. I wouldn’t have paid any attention except for the fact that the whole ting seemed suspicious and the paper was kind of rustling on the sidewalk on it’s own.
I walked up to the paper and saw a tiny little puppy who couldn’t move his hind legs. I quickly picked him up and he fit into just one of my hands. He obviously wasn’t doing so well and I brought him to the nearest Vet I could find. I had no intention to keep him at that point because my life was too busy to have a puppy (or so I thought).
The Vet said the we could euthanize him or that we could try to save him but the there were no guarantees. My boss at the time said she would help with his expenses (which reached to almost $6,000) and that I had found him for a reason and I had to keep him. So I did.
When he came home, he was so scared but he adapted quickly, He tried so hard to be a good boy because I think he knew that he was super lucky. I think he still knows… I called him Biggie Smalls because he has such a BIG personality in such a small package. Everyone loves him. He does a good job at being a watch dog. He can charm anyone he meets.
