About this campaign

Bijou was rescued from Apple Valley Animal Shelter in California. After arriving at her foster home we realized she needed vet care for her leg. She needs a TPLO Surgery or amputation.

Bijou is in a foster home with someone who adores her. She gets along with all other dogs and people, while she is young her injury slows her down due to the pain she experiences.

Bijou has the personality of a Great Dane in the body of a kitten. She thinks she's mighty and rules all she sees, However, she is so kind and a lover of all animals large and small.

Shortly after arriving in her foster home, we noticed Bijou was limping. We took her to the vet to investigate and upon receiving x-rays we discovered she needed a TPLO surgery or amputation. Per the vets recommendation, we opted for amputation. Bijou's surgery will be performed at Orchard Hills Vet Hospital in Washougal, WA.

Our rescue has significant medical bills for pets. We are in urgent need to give every animal the treatment they deserve. In the short time we have been established we have rescued over 250 animals.
