About this campaign
Bill is a kitten from my resident cat, Delilah. Delilah had her first and only litter 10 months ago. I kept two kittens from that litter. Bill picked me from the second he could walk to me.
Two days ago I noticed Bill's breathing was labored and he was trying to throw something up. He keeps gagging and coughing but there's something lodged in his throat. I tried to do the kitty heimlich maneuver several times to no avail. I opened his mouth and looked inside and I didn't see anything. I don't want to put my finger in his throat because I don't want to push it and wedge it deeper.
Bill is my shadow. If he's not following me meowing then I am carrying him around while I'm doing yard work. He gets separation anxiety if I leave. So I've taken to taking him with me in the car and he doesn't mind cuz I'm there. In the evenings when he thinks it's bedtime he gets in bed and meow is very loudly until I join him. He has a huge purr. He is my best friend. I don't want him to die.
I am on disability. I don't get paid until the 3rd but he's not going to make it that long. His breathing is labored and I don't think he's getting oxygen to his blood. I have no idea what he swallowed but I feel absolutely horrible that I can't make him feel better.
