Biscuit is a 6 month old Mix-Breed in Akron, OH, who needs $1,500 for Amputation.

Biscuit came into my life a week ago from being, what seems like, abandoned. He was found on the streets of Akron and ended up following my friend home. I took him in, he’s about 6 months to a year old! He was found injured and I didn’t want to leave him on the streets. He currently lives with me and I have claimed ownership of him!

Biscuit needs surgery in the next few weeks on his tail. He was taken to 2 vets in the past few days and it’s an urgent matter. When he was found there was a large cut that has, in the past week, gotten worse. The very tip of his tail is unfortunately dead and he would need it amputated. Amputations cost upwards of 1k not including any medication or anesthesia needed for the procedure.

Biscuit has been the SWEETEST thing anyone can ask for. Despite being injured he LOVES head kisses, being pet, and cuddling! He’s been eating so much he’s already getting so big! He’s very friendly and playful once he warms up to you initially! He’s a little vocal to tell you that he wants your attention and pets!

Since he was a stray that I had taken in, I was not prepared for the financial hardships that would occur caring for an injured animal. I want him to be out of pain and not fear his wound would get infected. Biscuit deserves a happy loving home and I want to give him that!
