Biscuit is a 12-year-old Chihuahua in Charleston, WV, who needs $1,650 for Luxating Patella surgery.

I got Biscuit back in September of 2008. Her actual birthday is August 27, 2008. The reason I named her Biscuit is because she looks almost the exact color of a Breakfast Biscuit. I fell in love with her when I first saw her and my feelings for her have only grown stronger as the years go by. I'm a very big animal lover and have had many in my life but Biscuit has always been my favorite.

Biscuit lives at my house in WV. Right now its just me and her living here. She keeps me very good company. I have a large yard so she likes to run and bark at all the other neighborhood dogs and cats. Typical dog behavior. She sleeps in my living room in a little doggie bed but sometimes she gets lonely and crawls up in the bed with me. I never mind that at all.

My problem is that I don't have the funds to fix and treat my little friend. I work a part time job but only enough to pay my bills with. It really means so much to me to have my dog back to normal again. I've been with her so many years now. Idk what I'd do without her.

The main problem that Biscuit faces right now is she need a Luxating Patella surgery. The problem is that there's a type of separation in her knee area that needs to be joined back together properly. Once treated, there will be no worry about her condition deteriorating any further. The name of the Hospital treating her is Valley West Animal Hospital and the veterinarians name is Thomas Isaac.

The thing that I love most about Biscuit is just her zest for life. She's a happy and energetic dog. She just loves being around people. Especially members of my family that live close by my friends. She has a way of making people smile by just being around her. She also knows a few tricks. My favorite is when she twirls around real fast several times when she's pleased with what she's eating
