About this campaign

Biscuit first came into my life on January 20th, 2017. On this day my sister-in-law told my sister and I that two dogs had been abandoned in the apartment complex parking lot. Right away we rushed to help, and we saw a box with a blanket and two small dogs inside. As we approached, the dogs seemed frightened, so we attempted to lure them out slowly instead. It seemed like they had hope their previous owner would return for them, and anytime anyone approached them they ran away, only returning to their box when the area was alone again. We made sure the car owner was aware so that they wouldn't move their car and for the next three days during rainy weather we tried to gain their trust. On the third day, Biscuit finally walked toward me instead of running away, and he let us bring him home. We fed him, bathed him, and made him feel safe and loved. Although, we were not able to do the same for his puppy pal, we knew of other neighbors trying to help and hoped he'd found a forever home as well. He made a new puppy pal that day, Teenie, our other Chihuahua fur baby. Now he gets to take longs walks with my dad daily, plays with puppy pals Teenie and Chewy, and snuggle up in bed with me every night. We are very fortunate to have Biscuit be a part of our family as he has given us as much love as we have given him.
