Blackie is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Delta, PA, who needs $2,000 for Full-Mouth Extraction.

Blackie is a sweet, shy, gentle stray who adopted our elderly widowed friend "V" in '23, He came wounded & with some buddies. But a bad fall last Nov landed V in the hospital & sadly accelerated her dementia, resulting in her moving into a home w/out her cats. My husband & I cared for them until we found good homes for them, but first Blackie's mouth needs some serious medical attention, and soon.

We see Blackie's chin quiver in pain. He has only 2 good teeth left; most have broken or fallen out. There are likely roots remaining that must be removed asap. Dr Tjepkema at Animal Dental Center in PA can help us if we can raise $2500 for a full-mouth extraction. Bloodwork shows he's otherwise healthy & Dr T is confident they can completely fix his mouth & enable him to live a full & happy life!

We've fallen hard for this silky, dark, handsome boy. His voice is low & soft, tho he doesn't usually have much to say. He loves to eat & can't resist lickable treats. He's THE most affectionate cat we've ever met! A chronic purrer, kneader & headbutter who loves to get kisses, he prefers to be on or near his humans. Purrfectly content with love & a warm lap, this boy truly is something special!!!

"V" has no funds as she's now in assisted living, waiting on financial aid herself. My husband & I have cats of our own, 1 with ongoing monthly medical expenses. Please, we really need your help in raising funds to give Blackie a long happy pain-free life in his new home!
