Blade is a 13-year-old Ragdoll in Burlington , KY, who needs $800 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Blade was adopted when he was less than one year old. He has been part of our family for 13 years. We had a second cat named Bogey that was 17 years old and just passed away a month ago. Bogey has heart, liver and kidney disease and was always sick and needed care. Blade has basically taken the back seat since his kitty brother needed so much care. Blade is past due for medical care.

Blade has a heart of gold. He will headbutt you when he wants attention and then purr very loudly. He has trouble getting up and down on furniture. He needs medical care that we were not able to provide him due to the expense of caring for our second ill kitty. Blade needs xrays to see why he is limping. I believe it is arthritis but can't be certain. I hate to see him in pain.

Blade is a special boy. So very sweet. He will lick you and never bite. He bats his baby blue eyes with love. If he is laying in our recliner and we walk by, he will get up and get on the arm of the chair immediately and let you sit down. He is beautiful on the outside and definitely on the inside!

Blade limps when he walks. Since he is so heavy, I'm not sure if he hurt himself jumping down or if it's arthritis but either way, he is in pain and desperatly needs medical care. Now that our second kitty has passed, I thought I was going to finally have the money to take him to the vet but I have been diagnosed with two cancers recently (kindey and prostate cancer) and I'm not working.

I am not able to work and my wife takes care of our son who needs her constant care due to medical reasons. I would love to see Blade get the care he needs since he's waited way to long!!
