Blessings is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Carrollton, TX, who needs $2,000 for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID).

My dog Blessing was brought to us when she was 5 weeks old now she is 4 years old. Blessing is full of life she likes to run around our backyard and or neighbor dog is her buddy and crime. They dug a hole under the fence so that the neighbors dog can come over and hang out lol its like having a teenager sneaking people over and having a party. She always sleep in the bed with us.

One day Blessings was having the time of her life running around in the backyard she hit her head on the fence. I was upstairs watching her play with her pal i ran down stairs out into the back yard to make sure she was ok and i felt a lump on her head. I took her to Buckner animal clinic. After they ran test the lump was actually a tumor.

Our dog isnt just a dog she is our daughter, we watch movies with her, we cook her meals and feed her like a baby. I never cried for an animal before except from movies that are very touching. We had Blessings since she was a baby and grown very attached to her. We can tell a change in her since the lump she seems uncomfortable and not full of life.

We keep her shots up but the thought or tumors, chemotherapy and radiation are very expensive treatments. We are unsure of how long the process will be but we hope to be able to get her in full remission.
