Bliss is a 9-month-old Chihuahua in Glendale, CA, who needs $1,900 for femoral head ostectomy (FHO).

We were thrilled when Bliss, a white Chihuahua mix, joined our family last March 2021. She has 1/16 Jack Russell Terrier in her blood, so she loves run and explore. She lives in a condo with us. She sleeps on the bed with us every night. She enjoys window shopping in outdoor mall. She brings joy and attention to everyone in the neighborhood.

Bliss is a very brave girl. She loves to run. She loves to play hide and seek with my other two cats. Bliss probably tried to imitate her two cat brothers thinking at times that perhaps she’s a cat too in her attempt to jump off the sofa. However, Bliss’ 9 month old body ended up telling her something different than what she believed. Bliss ended up injuring her hip femur ball/socket joint.

Bliss is such an explorer. She loves to go places she’ve never been. Her curiosity for life really inspired me. She likes to lay her head on my neck. She loves her belly rub. She is a selfless dog. She will try the best she can to get close to me and makes me calm in my difficult days. Her joyful outlook in life really makes my days so much brighter.

She recently has a fractured hip. She starts to limp. It was a miracle that we found a orthopedic hospital (VCA group) that can treat her condition during covid. Bliss injured her hip femur ball/socket joint. It will need a surgery to fix it. The surgery has a three day plan. The vet bill is so high that we are not able to afford it.

The vet bill is $6000 on top of the $1000 dollars we had to pay at the primary doctor. During Covid, my company has not been paying me regularly. The vet bill is equal to my 6 months living expenses. I am in need for help to afford the best care to such a selflessness dog.
