Blitz is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Spearfish , SD, who needs $2,000 for Stomach Tumor Removal.

We adopted blitz back in 2015. He was rescued through Ogala Pet project and fostered by my sister where we fell in love with him. He has a very loving home. He’s very popular in the community because of his unique build. He is part German Shepherd, part corgi . He is even popular enough that he has his own Instagram page at blitzy_bug.

This last Thursday we took him into our vet and they found a large tumor attached to his stomach. Our vet recommended we go to CSU veterinarian Hospital for the emergency. So we headed out for the 5 Hour long drive . He is scheduled to have surgery this upcoming Monday May 4. We are hoping for the best outcome for our special friend and love.

We just recently adopted a corgi puppy that blitz is helping us to train. Blitz is such a good big brother. His temperament is very mild and he is friendly with everyone. His favorite activity is going for hikes and not boring walks!

Prognosis looks fairly good for him at this point, but with travel expenses and hotel cost, and this big vet bill to extend his life for hopefully another five years we would truly appreciate it if you would help us to be able to to enjoy him longer.
