About this campaign
I got my boy when he was 4 weeks old. He stays in the house all the time the only time he goes outside is to go into his potty pen. I take him outside put him in his pen to let him do his business and run around for a while when he was just a baby I would rock him just like a real baby he got so used to it that he still wants to get in my lap at almost 90 pounds for me to rock him
Blu thinks he owns us all. He is always checking on us and the cats to make sure we are okay. He gets so excited when someone comes in he's got to check them out to see if they're okay or not. He is definitely is family. He is like one of my children it hurts me to see him hurting like he does. He is very hyper I have to keep him sedated some days to keep him from ripping his cast off I hate that.
Blu makes me laugh. He loves to ride in a car and bark at everybody that goes by. He does silly things and talks back to me. He doesn't like anyone to sit on his couch, he will talk to you if you do until you get up. When I walk to the kitchen his foot goes into my step. He steps all over my feet. What a joy he is.
We were taking blu out to his potty pen, when a loud school bus come down the road and blu broke and ran to the road before we could get the gate closed. The bus hit him and broke his leg in two places. They are a complete break and are not healing. He has been in a cast over 2 months. He is being treated at Wentworth animal hospital in Reidsville North Carolina. They are saying amputation isneeded
On fixed income, have already paid $2,000 toward his care. I barely get by but have managed to pay as much as I can. I have now depleted my savings that I had. He is going to have to have weekly care until we see if his leg is going to heal or not.
