Blu is a 2 year old Akita Inu in Kissee Mills, MO, who needs $2,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

We got blu from a friend of ours last winter, my son and I fell in love with her and so we started letting her come in the house to stay out of the cold... we have 2 other dogs kilo and dozer... both of them are males so she's the only girl... she is called blu because of her eyes...

she went from being a beautiful akita to a mangy looking mutt... and she just lays around depressed all the time... she has a terrible smell... her skin is always crusty and scabbed... she has lost all of her fur basically and so much weight... the other 2 don't have any issues like she does... taney county veterinary services is where I will be taking her...

She loved to play especially in water... she loved chasing things... her and my son were best friends... she helps me when my depression gets to be overwhelming... but since she got sick... she doesn't even like to get out of bed herself...

I can't handle seeing her like this anymore... I barely make enough to pay my bills... I'm just hoping it's not something that's going to require a whole life change for her...
