Blu is a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Pitt/Lab Mix in Kuna, ID, who needs $150 for Pancreas Plus - Pig enyzmes.

Our boy is Blu. He came into our life through an ad in google. And he is a gift to us everyday! He has been with us since 2018. His mate is Tasha who we just got in January of this year. He is my 9 year old son's dog and he name him Blu because when he was a puppy he had blue eyes. His full name is Dodger Blu because he is a fan of the Dodgers! He is very loved and very funny!

Blu loves to sleep with my husband and loves to snuggle with all of us! There is no other dog like him! He loves to hike/walk/swim /play wherever we are. He communicates through barks loud and soft, and when he is mad he put up upper lip at us (see in picture). He has become more protective since we got Tasha. He loves belly rubs and walks!

Because of the COVID-19 we are struggling financially and at this time, we cannot afford his medicine. I am looking for a job, but it takes time. He needs his medicine now.

Blu suffers from EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) it doesn't allow him to absorb nutrients and fats provided by food, therefore causing him to gradual literally starve to death. The medicine that works for him is Pig enzymes in powder form. Without it he had cow patty stools, hair loss, fatigue, loss of muscle and weight, And he will die.

Blu is special because of his personality, his love for snuggles, his corks (upper lip) and his playfulness and thinking he is still small when he is very large. He is very photogenic and loves pictures. He makes us laugh when he barks and is so happy he is running back and forth and when he is mad at us doing his lip. He makes us smile when he is just himself, happy, laid back and funny!
