Blu is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Terlton, OK, who needs $800 for Abscessed Tooth Extraction.

My Dad adopted Blu into our family at just over a year old after the death of our previous family pit bull by cancer in late 2016. She quickly became a cherished sibling to our family of 7, especially myself and my dad. My dad passed away suddenly overnight of a heart attack in 2018 at 43, a month before I turned 17, leaving behind my mom, myself and my 2 kid brothers. Blu then fell under my care.

This past week, we've started to notice her drool has been pink, we wrote it off as maybe a cut. Last night, it was straight bloody drool coming from her left side of her mouth, she finally let me fully open her mouth to see that one of her rear left molars and gum are abscessed/bloodied. We will be taking her to the 15th street veterinary group in Tulsa, OK ASAP, this is a developing situation.

Blu is a ride or die, always at your side, always checking in on everyone kind of dog. She's never shown any aggression to any human ever, she'd be the dog who'd play with a burglar, endless trust and outgoing attitude. She talks to us constantly every day with a weird low groan in a way I've never known any other dog to do. She loves to "hug" by going in between your legs when you're standing.

My mom's SSI from my Dad's death runs out this month, so me (23yo) and my brother (21yo) are stepping in to split our financial/living situation with my mom and my younger brother (just turned 18yo). I just want to see me and my dad's best friend live happily into her teens.
