About this campaign

We adopted Blue and his sister daisy 4 years ago from the Mesquite animal shelter. They were 12 weeks old when we brought them into our loving home. Blue and his sister live in our home with our 2 other dogs Rocky and Cookie, who are both rescues as well.

Blue is a very loving companion to me and my wife. If my wife sits down on the floor, he immediately goes to her and sits on her lap. All 90 pounds of him. He still thinks he's a puppy. Blue is very protective of her and goes wherever she goes. He is always the first dog through the doggy door when we wake up in the morning and loves to lay and roll around in the grass no matter how cold it is.

Blue is a character and loves to eat doggie beds and then play in all the fluff. We got tired of buying dog beds and cleaning the mess, so we invested in a nice pillow top twin for him and his 3 siblings. They have one downstairs in the kitchen and one upstairs close to us.

We have to see a surgeon to treat the wound at City Vet in Dallas.
Blue and Daisy are terrified by thunder and they chewed their way out of our backyard, through our wood fence on Saturday, October 28 during the crazy rain and storms. Somehow during their time away he cut his right side and it became terribly infected. He was rescued on Friday and we took him to the ER.

My wife barely worked thru Covid and we grew a lot of debt. Currently in a debt repayment plan. I had neck surgery this year and have had many other health complications. Had to get a new heater and a/c late last year. Hail damage and many more life problems. Can't keep up.
