My husband found this sweet emancipated puppy with a broken leg. He was able to catch him and we took him to the vet asap. We have been giving him around the clock care but the vet recommended surgery to repair his broken leg. This is an expense we we’re not prepared for but we are able to care for him if he is able to get this surgery

This boy is a fighter and has such a sweet demeanor considering his rough beginning. He deserves to be loved and pain free. He is already trusting us more each day as we are giving him around the clock care. He is settling in nicely and is gobbling his new puppy food instead of scavenging the streets for food

Even though he is in constant pain, he never misses an opportunity to rest his sweet head and body against me. He is so smart and already learning so fast. We got an X-ray as soon as my husband rescued him and it appears that he was most likely kicked so hard that his bone was cracked at the ball joint with some bone fragments possibly in his leg. He can not put any pressure on that leg and favors it as he can not walk long before he needs to rest
