Blue is a 8 Year Old Chihuahua in Gobles, MI, Who Needs $1,000 for Hospitalization, IV Treatment, Insulin, and Glucose.

Blue came to us in a snow storm. We picked him up and he's been a wonderful companion for our other Chihuahua Sister. They love each other so much and are bonded. He's a little grumpy like any typical Chihuahua but a lover at heart.

Blue started throwing up and acting funny while I was in the hospital and over the past month had been drinking quite a bit more I had noticed and eating less. When I got out of the hospital we thought he was just stressed and would eat again normally but was unable to keep anything down soo off to the vet we went. Turns out his sugar was sky high at 320 and his kidney and pancreas are not happy.

He loves his Chihuahua mate sister and he is bonded to me as well. He is not too keen on other visitors and is a one person dog although he has started to bond with his cousin Keaghan and will cuddle with her when I'm not around.

This time of year I only have snow plowing as an income and our truck broke down this week as well so this hit at a bad time. It will be such a relief to have blue back healthy and happy able to eat and function.
