Blue is a 2-year-old Dachshund in Reseda , CA, who needs $2,000 for Cystotomy.

Blue was found on a rainy day roaming in the street. After finings him and taking him to a nearby vet, we found no chip. After several weeks of looking for his owner, we decided on adding as a new addition to our family. With his short funky legs and corky personality and bluish coat, we decided on the name “Blue”. With so much love to give, we couldn’t help but quickly fall for him.

Blue is the sweetest, most caring and gentle dog. He loves chasing balls around and playing with toys 3x his size. He is so gentle witt my sons and other pets. He loves church and Jesus. Hes a confident little buddy who might seem small but comes with such a big personality and so much love to give to me and his dog siblings.

Unfortunately with the amount of changes this year, finances have been tight. My social security is limited to survival. I am unable to stretch that money and pay his emergency fee. Anything can help!

Having my pet healthy again and out of suffrage and discomfort will mean the world. Blue is more than a pet to me, he is a companion, support system and my comfort. His presence has helped my depression and anxiety over the course of the years and the thought of him suffering hurts my heart and soul.

Unfortunately over the last year we’ve been forced out of our home. Finances have been extremely tight and low. For last few weeks, we’ve noticed blue is experiencing pain and discomfort while urinating. After taking hime to the vet and obtaining x-rays, we’ve found out that he has gallstones and requires surgery as soon as possible.
