BlueRay Jordan is a 10-year-old American Bully in Bessemer City, NC, who needs $624 for Heartworm Treatment.

A friend of mine had a litter of puppies. So I met Blue not to long after he was born a couple days. He was not only the runt of the litter he also was born without a tail. He has little nub that's it. He looked like a little puggy blue ball. So my son named him BlueRay. He came home with use on April 12, 2010. When others look at him the just see a dog, but to me he is my 4 legged child.

If Blue had his choice on where he slept it would be my bed. He is way to big and sounds like a 747 aircraft coming in for a landing when he snores,but he has his own big bed he sleeps on. He loves to go outside and lay in the sun right around 12 noon. We have a couple other dogs he plays with outside, but his favorite thing to do is dig holes and roll in the dirt on his back.

I recently returned to work this past June from major shoulder surgery so have only been back to work a short time. I was able to have the Lumpectomy Surgery on Blue. He is now cancer free, still heartworm positive. It would mean everything for him to be healthy

A lump came up on Blue's left hip, so I took him to the vet. He was diagnosed with a mass cell tumor that was cancer as well as a small lump in his testicles and tested heartworm positive. Dr. John at The Pet Hospital in Bessemer City NC said we have to remove the mass and the pea size mass/neutered in his testicles have it biopsied, then we can treat the heartworms.

The great thing about Blue is that when he has been rolling in the dirt and you want him to get in the bathtub all you have CV to do is ask him. He is always happy to jump in the shower with you. Blue loves to catch treats tossed to him. He knows how to wait until he is told to pick up the treat. If anyone is sitting down he will take his head and push it under your arm to be petted.
