Boa is a Pitbull that my son brought home. He soon after moved out and was unable to care for her at 4 months. I took care of her, alone to the best of my knowledge. I knew nothing about dogs before. I grew to love bo so much as my own child. I think I didnt fully understand how animals work as they get older. Because I never imagined this , at her age of 6years old. I feel that I failed her.

Sat. July 12, 2025 Boa was stuck on the basement steps unable to move. I lifted her off. I then realized she couldn't walk properly, she's limping. I took her to the ER and was told she had a torn acl. I was horrified. I contacted a few places and came up with maryland veterinary surgical services. They were able to more tell me a price over the phone. I already had spent 600 so I didnt have it

Boa is so special because she's opened my eyes and life to a new love and appreciation I have for animals. I never could have imagined i would become an animal over by taking care of her. My friend calls me peta. I help cats in the neighborhood with food and I just love animals. Boa has changed my life and everyone around her. She's so sweet and kind it hurts me to see her like this.
