I got Marley in October 2020. My thoughts were that during this pandemic he would be the smile in my heart. I was right. I flew to Chicago to get him and I have had him in my arms ever since. He is energetic and loving. He enjoys the pillows on the top of the couch, that is his place to get away from me when I'm too overbearing, lol. He lives in a house with another pet.

We have a 1 year old pitbull who is his best friend. They play and run around the house all day long. I also have a 12 year old son who adores him and enjoys having him on his lap during class and while playing the video gam. Marley lights up our lives and I cannot imagine how to get on without him.

As I said before, Marley keeps me out of my depression but now it seems he is depressed. I'm crying as I type this message. I lost my job due to Covid and financially we can't afford to make him whole and healthy.

He has been incredibly healthy until this accident. He now has a shoulder luxation. We took him to St. Francis Veterinarian Specialist in Decatur, Ga and the bill is astronomical. We can barely survive as I lost my job and now we have to figure out how to make Marley whole again. He seems depressed which makes me depressed as well.

Marley loves to cuddle. I love it too because often times I might fall into a depression but he brings me out of it. The irony here is that his condition now brings me more sadness. I cannot imagine cutting off his leg. He needs surgery or amputation is the only option. I can't imagine cutting off his leg just because I don't have the money to pay forr the surgery. I'm going to try everything.
