I got him during Covid after thinking long about getting a dog. I had gone to a farm where they rescue dogs and I was intending to get an older dog. As I was leaving a litter of 9 puppies had just been taken in. He came over and sat down right in front of me and I took him home with me.

On Tuesday we went to the dog park and played. On Wednesday he seemed a little tired when I walked him. He still came to greet,e but not his usual boisterous self. On Thursday morning when I woke up, he couldn’t walk. He seemed to have no feeling in his rear legs or tail. The vet said he has a prolapsed disk as a result of a degenerative disease and needs surgery if.

He loves the kittens I rescued- he plays with them and they adore him. He is a gentle giant, he is the happiest most gentle dog, even when playing at the dog park. He loves people- the neighbors, my kids, literally everyone he meets.

I lost my job 2 weeks before this happened. He has been my support since the day I brought him home. We need the surgery so he can walk again. I want to give him the best life ever and see his tail wag again.
