Bodhi was picked out at the local shelter by my 2 year old daughter, Layla. Bodhi and Layla have become best friends and inseparable since. Bodhi was instantly adjusted to our family and other cat, lotus. They are always together and have the best time. Bodhi loves to playing fetch and riding around in Laylas stroller.

Bodhi began vomiting 2 days ago and was not eating or drinking. Yesterday Bodhi was dizzy and collapsed, going limp. I rushed her to the vet emergency hospital and she quickly received iv fluids to hydrate her. Xrays were done and confirmed a foreign body in her small intestines, requiring emergent surgery and days of recovery.

Bodhi and Layla are the best of friends and play all day and night . Bodhi is so patient and kind to our family. Never gets annoyed by our toddler or other cat. Always so happy and playful. Our other cat lotus, is grumpy and our mantra in our house is “in a world of lotus’ be a bodhi” Always full of life and enjoying every moment.
