Bodhi is a rescue from Mexico, I adopted him from the Watermelon Mountain Ranch in Rio Rancho June 4th of 2020 during the first summer of Covid 19. He was tiny and his ribs were showing. They estimated that he was around a year old and had been living in the streets. He now 15 lbs & lives with me in our little apartment by the river and he loves & adores his home and dog mom.

Currently Bodhi is in the hospital due to what started as an episode of diarrhea just after leaving a day at daycare, then volatile vomiting and diarrhea all night long. After 2 vet visits subcutaneous fluids, bloodwork, and X-rays it was determined that he has a rare terrier disease: Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and can be fatal if not treated right away. Bodhi loves all people and animals. When we walk together it usually goes like this: hop out of the car, start walking towards the grassy part of the park, sniffing all the way, then the occasional sprint to the next sniffing area. Bodhi enjoys a good sniff-ari & knows how to check in with this human while he’s on his walking missions. He enjoys rubbing his body on the carpet like a brush.

Unexpected major expense with no emergency fund after rent going up by 62.5% over the past couple of years. So, my budget as a single woman is tight.
