Bodhi is a 8-year-old Himalayan Cat in Talent, OR, who needs $1,500 for Urinary Obstruction.

We rescued bodhi from the animal shelter as a sweet baby kitten. He came with a broken stumpy tail and tons of character. He was the first pet our little family got together, and has been a huge source of joy and love for us for the past 8 years. He is an unforgettable, extremely docile, lovable guy unlike any other. We adopted him on valentines day, and named him bodhi valentine.

Bodhi has many nicknames including cat-dog because he behaves more like a dog then a cat! He will love on anyone and everyone, is a big floppy bundle of purrs, and has an extremely high level of tolerance for being passed around, cuddled, and snuggled. He has been the bedtime companion for sleepless nights, the keeper of secrets, and the soaker-upper of many tears.

He has the most unique personality of any cat and everyone who meets him will agree. He is unusually passive and calm. We have fostered kittens in the past and he decided they were all "his babies" giving them baths and snuggling them relentlessly.

Bodhi was admitted to best friends animal hospital this morning in critical condition. He has a complete ureter blockage, caused by a server UTI that was causing his kidneys to shut down. His heart rate was in the 200s (its supposed to be around 40!) The doctor feels like he was brought in just in the nick of time...

I am a single mom, raising 3 kids and was just recently told the owner of our house is selling and we need to move. Losing our favorite pet in the middle of this already very stressful time would be extremely hard on my children.
