Bodie is a 6-year-old mixed male kitty. We adopted him from Seaworld during COVID. He was a show cat there, as he performed as one of the tightrope walkers. He lives with mommy, daddy, and his little brother Peanut. He has been a very healthy boy up until a few months ago. He is the sweetest boy in the world and loves snuggling, purring, walking around and "talking", and playing with little bro.

Bodie has been steadily losing weight over the last few months. He has recently been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and kidney stones that are trapped in his ureters. We have tried to medically manage this but it has failed. He is requiring an extensive surgery that requires two implants to bypass both ureters. It will be an ongoing, chronic issue.

Bodie is a mommas boy and enjoys snuggling with mommy and daddy every night. He also loves playing with his little brother. They enjoy any cat toy infused with cat nip. He has the sweetest demeanor of any cat I have ever owned. He has never met a stranger and he loves everyone. He is the absolute joy and light of our lives. My husband and I don't have kids so our cats are our children and family.

My husband is a firefighter which unfortunately doesn't bring in a lot of income. I am a nurse but I am currently in school to obtain my Psych NP so I am not currently working. It would mean the world to us, any support possible. This endeavor has cost us almost $20000.
