About this campaign

We recently moved to the country. Bok Choy was a stray on our property with no microchip and was not claimed during the period we fostered through the animal shelter. We ended up adopting him, having him neutered and vaccinated through the animal shelter and couldn’t be more blessed he chose us to be his family. He is between 1-2 years old and has the fluffiest tail and longest whiskers.

Bok Choy is an indoor/outdoor cat and loves being inside with his 3 humans and 3 dog siblings. He is happiest when he’s able to play in the woods on our property and on our neighbor’s property. He’s won the affection of the humans as well as our three dogs. They play, walk and nap together. When Bok Choy comes home from an adventure in the woods, the pups have a certain bark to alert us!

Bok Choy is the sweetest kitty! He’s affectionate, brave and smart. He watches everything we do, goes out to potty with our dogs and has perfect house manners (with the exception of the zoomies at 4am!). He is a beautiful buff color ginger tabby (long hair). He’s our heart. Everyone he meets comments on how beautiful and sweet he is!

Bok Choy injured himself on one of his recent adventures outside. He broke his right hip and needs femoral head osteomy surgery to relieve him of arthritis pain. Although his activities will be limited and he will now be an indoor only cat, it is heartbreaking for us to know he would have ongoing pain without the surgery.

At this time, my family is unable to pay for the unexpected expensive vet cost. One of our dogs had a ruptured exposed abscess that needed to be treated. We have also had vehicle expenses for two of our vehicles. We welcome your help to see our little guy cared for.
