I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart as my heart dog, Bolt, is currently hospitalized due to serious health issues. Bolt has been experiencing frequent seizures, and he has been diagnosed with hypernatremia, a condition that has put his life at risk.

Bolt is currently hospitalized at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hopsital of wichita and has been diagnosed with hypernatremia and continuous seizures. He is in critical condition with still having seizures, an altered mental status and trying to get his sodium level down at a healthy rate.

Bolt is not just a pet; he is my soul dog, he’s a wonderful big brother, he’s been a great teacher to many many a vet tech student, letting them perform blood draws and injections, place catheters, practice radiographs and other practice procedures. His infectious energy, playful spirit, and unwavering loyalty have brought so much joy into the lives of everyone who has met him.

This is an unexpected financial stress, but more than worth it for my heart and soul, Bolt. I am continuing to work and picking up overtime as much as I can but the bill stacks up with each and every second.
