Six months ago, my husband and I rescued a cat who wandered into our body shop one morning. We've decided to keep him at the shop around the clock since we already have pets at home. He's an absolute darling, extremely sociable, and adores cuddling.
He was so frail and thin that we called him Bones.

We brought Bones to Intercity Veterinary Hospital for routine vaccinations and to check a large, soft mass on his right leg .
We also checked to see if he is microchipped, which he is, but it's not registered to anyone.
Then diagnostic results were that he has hyperthyroidism and that the mass on his leg is cancer.

This cat has put his life in our hands. He has shown us so much love.
He's incredibly amiable, and he's become a beloved figure in our shop.
Had it not been for the noticeable bulge on his leg, we might have never realized he was suffering from cancer. He even coexists peacefully with our dogs.
