I like to think Bonnie and I saved each other. One freezing rainy day, I found the cutest kitten on my patio looking for shelter. i took her in and she made herself right at home. at the time, I didn’t know how badly she was going to save me. A few days later, my beloved cat Bean passed away due to cancer. It felt as if Bean sent Bonnie to me, knowing I would need all the love I could get.

Bonnie made herself right at home, immediately sleeping right on my pillow and coming to me for all the pets, love and comfort. From the jump, she knew she came to the right place. she knew she found her mama.

Bonnie is crazy to say the least. she can put a smile on your face when your crying your eyes out because she is just SO cute and silly. always screaming at you for pets and to be held non stop. i actually made a carrier for her with a scarf so i could hold her while i do my chores at home. we love going on car rides together. she quickly turned into my best friend. we needed each other.

Yesterday, we were just doing what we always do. i ran across the living room and bonnie ran past me, fast. we collided into each other. her knocking me off my feet with how fast she was going. immediately after i noticed something was not right. the way bonnie and i made contact hit her jaw in just the right spot, dislocating it and breaking it.

Never in my life have i struggled to keep myself afloat until now. With the way the economy has gotten, i have drained myself of resources trying to pay my bills. And then this happens. I feel as if i’m at a breaking point and i don’t know what i would do if bonnie wasn’t ok
