About this campaign
Bonnie is a 4 year old pitbull/border collie mix. She was rescued from the ACC when she was about 7 months. She lives with her older brother Mo, who is an 13 year old dachshund, my daughter, and my son.
Recently diagnosed via punch biopsy with osteosarcoma (OSA) of the L shoulder. It is unclear at this time whether the tumor originates from the scapula, and while a primary tumor of bone is certainly possible, given the extent of soft tissue involvement and the mass-like area protruding from the L shoulder extraskeletal extension of OSA must also be considered.
When I come home from school, spent by the 100 kids I teach each day, Bonnie will jump up and start kissing me, wiping away all the stress of the day. My daughter who struggles with depression, anxiety, and OCD. Bonnie has become her emotional support. When my daughter has an episode Bonnie will lick her and cuddle up next to my daughter.
I am currently unemployed. I receive government assistance and/or food stamps. We do not have pet insurance. My family’s household income is below the poverty level. I need all the finical support I can get.
