Bonnie is a 4-year-old Maltipoo in Palmdale, CA, who needs $1,000 for Spinal Surgery.

Our dog Bonnie came into our life in April 2016 when her owners were moving out of state and could not bring her with them. Bonnie has since become a part of our family and has always been a comfort to our family during difficult times. Bonnie is an indoor dog and shares a bed with me. We also have another dog Duke - a Doberman.

Bonnie is a small dog and is carried and hugged and loved by all of us daily. She loves me and follows me everywhere I go. She loves to lay on our clothing items. She loves to play and be carried around. She loves to snack and going on car rides. She gets ready whenever she hears us say "lets go". She also loves and always look for her brother Duke.

I have already used 4000.00 for the care that Bonnie has already received but surgery is more and I simply don't have it. I do work full time, but I have 3 kids and don't want to have to choose whether I can help Bonnie or not.

Bonnie was hit by a car on 3/21/21. He did not stop and she was left on the side of the road. Duke stayed with her until a good Samaritan came and called us. We took her to the vet and she has been there ever since. She got a CT scan today and she is in need of surgery for her spinal fracture that is pinching on her nerves and preventing her from using her hind legs.

She loves to play with her dog brother and pretends to hunt him and barks at him. He plays back with her and pretends to bite her and runs after her. Bonnie loves to go for walks and car rides and enjoys meeting new dogs. She always finds our laps when were sitting on the couch and curls up in there.
