About this campaign
My cat was rescued from a trashcan since birth. I found him around Halloween seven years ago, so I named him Boo. He came into my life when I was going through hard times, he literally saved me. Since then, it’s been my mission to give him the best life he could have since he isn’t supposed to be alive right now. I raised him his entire life and he’s been my entire life. He’s literally my baby.
Our apartment has recently flooded, and we were forced to move to another unit. Since then his health has been deteriorating in front of me. He refuses to eat, he takes a few steps and collapses, and is having trouble breathing now. With a little money I had I took him to a vet and they are administered a steroid shot. He showed a little bit of improvement but nowhere near where he was.
Boo is a caretaker to my other three cats. Once Boo was a teenager, we adopted more cats from the Humane Society. Now we are home of four cats and boo is the dad to all of them. Everyone in my family loves boo and we’ve been devastated for the past two weeks now seeing his health deteriorate in front of us. He is literally the glue that keeps our cat family strong.
My apartment flooded, and we were forced to leave tying up our funds into moving. I’m currently unemployed and experiencing hardships. How the saying goes “when it rains it pours”. I’ve tried to help cats my whole life. But now I’m the one that needs help.
