About this campaign
We got Boomer from a family friend who had a litter and shortly after getting Boomer, he was running around in our yard and slid into a metal fence which mangled his front left leg which had to be amputated. Shortly thereafter, we realized he was showing discomfort in his back right leg, so we took him to the vet who says he tore his ACL ligament and now needs surgery to repair.
Boomer is a 6-month-old male puppy who is full of life and loves everyone and everything in his life. He is trying to recover from losing his leg and just wants to run but due to the torn ACL ligament, he is unable to. Because he is so young, our vet feels that he would have a good chance full life if he could just have this surgery.
We are still grieving over losing a chocolate lab/mastiff last fall who we had for 8 long years before having to put him down. Boomer brought love back into our house again and helped us recover from losing our dear Buddy. He is our family baby and never fails to show us unconditional love even though he is in constant pain due to this injury. Please help us save our baby.
Boomer suffered a recent amputation of his front left leg and as a result, currently has torn the ACL ligament in his right hind leg requiring surgery. Dr Soehnlen from Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic in Navarre Ohio is the treating physician who has all our medical records. We can provide all our medical records upon request.
I am currently disabled receiving SSI and my husband was just recently hired into his job and we are having a hard time making payments for the amputation surgery. We are requesting assistance for the surgery needed to repair our baby's ACL ligament.
